Giving some love!

Every year we hear about committed community groups and organisations entering teams into the 48Hours competition. Last year we decided to give these groups a bit of love with some free community entries. We've done that again this year and are pleased to announce the seven groups who will receive free entry to Vista Foundation 48Hours 2019.

Māoriland Charitable Trust

Based in Ōtaki the Māoriland Charitable Trust runs film programmes for rangatahi  year-round to support the next generation of Māori storytellers focussing on Māori, rural and low socioeconomic communities.

Emerging Wellington Filmmakers Network

The Emerging Women Filmmakers Network is a support network for Wellington-based emerging female filmmakers. They aim to create a collaborative community of female filmmakers and to help grow their experience and skills in a supportive, empowering environment.  

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Taranaki

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Taranaki is a mentoring programme that creates one-to-one long-term relationships between caring adult volunteers and tamariki.

YMCA "Y Hub" Taranaki

The YMCA "Y Hub" provides workshops, opportunities, events and personal development for youth ages 12 – 24 years old in a welcoming, safe and positive place.

XCHC

XCHC  is a charitable trust set up to support the creative industries. Established in Christchurch post earthquake,  XCHC provides a place for creative practitioners to produce, showcase, and share their work.

Vectorgroup - Te Puke Film

Vectorgroup is a non profit organisation that gives opportunity to taiohi “youth”,  in the Bay of Plenty, through a variety of programmes, including filmmaking.

Taita Clubhouse

The Taita Clubhouse is a creative technology space for rangatahi aged 10-18, providing exciting creative and professional development opportunities.
