What an incredible month in Lockdown, we are so proud of our teams who competed in what we are calling the most brutal version of the VF48Hours in the 18-year history of the competition.

Our teams had one weekend to make a film without leaving their bubble and we gave them three days warning that the competition was on, so there was not much time to prepare.

The registrations came in over those three days in a steady stream or more like a tidal wave and by the time registrations closed,  we had a total of 2118 teams registered - a record number.

After 48 hours of blood, sweat and not much sleep, 1203 teams made it in on time with their three-minute film.

The VF48Hours: Lockdown was a chance to be creative and a welcome distraction from the trials of Lockdown. We have had loads of incredible feedback from our participants!

We have had a week of judging, with some industry heavy-weight judges; Peter Jackson, Edgar Wright, Ellen Wong, Elijah Wood, Cliff Curtis, Chelsea Winstanley, Jennifer Ward-Lealand Te Atamira, Tom Sainsbury, Karyn Rachtman, Rick Kalowski, Mette-Marie Kongsved, Karyn Kiyoko Kusama, Adam Wingard and Annick Mahnert. Read their bio's here.

To rise to the top of this pile of films is going to be a huge achievement and our teams have no idea who got there - this highly anticipated broadcasted event will reveal the finalist films and the winners of the $10,000 prize pool. there is $10,000 in the prize pool up for grabs!
