Ace to Joker
i thought this was a brave attempt at something more sincere and reality-based, that then kind of took a sinister turn towards the end and then i wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't. editing-wise i thought the story could have been a little more concise but, 48 hours, i get it. the knife scraping on the stairwell was a nice touch. sorry if people laughed inappropriately at the i hate everyone jacket detail. but, actually i would like that jacket.
Bottom of the Bottle
i missed the first moments of this so can only review what i saw. i think those who attempt dramatic stories for the 48 are brave. the storyline was ambitious and perhaps so much so that with only 48 hours you didn't have the time you needed to really nail the important dramatic scenes. however, there were some good moments and the premise was great for the genre.
Hens Night
the two lead actors were what made this short stand-out, their performances were brilliant and hilarious. the narrative/edit could have been a little tighter, and the flashback scenes could have been more inventive. but the opening scenes delivered a perfect set-up and i would not be surprised to see this in the finals. congratulations!

To Shill A Mockingbird
this short made me laugh. there were some really funny sight gags and a few one liners that were excellent.. i didn't understand what was going on story-wise sometimes, and the audio was often challenging, but the humour got me through. oh p.s. the intro video was the best of the heat! hahahahaha
I Just Want To Walk Through Walls.
i loved this one! a simple idea executed really well with a strong likeable lead. i didn't get where the insomnia came in, unless the ghost is the insomniac. but i hope to see this go to the finals! good job.
