Going A’Rye
Absolutely loved it! The enthralling aesthetic of the film was complimented by the impressive performances by all actors. The entire film is well shot and kept me guessing until the big reveal. Surely a spin-off for the hitman character?
What. A. Film.
Incognito
I really enjoyed this. Combining the bleak, yet beautiful cinematography and the well designed sound created a truly entertaining experience. The music was brilliant and kept the mood of the film consistent throughout. This is definitely one of my favourites this year! Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!
Read, are the tea leaves
I enjoyed the look of the film, but the story was definitely a weak point. I liked the delivery of the dialogue, reminding me of an early David Lynch film, but the script didn't work for me. The concept is intriguing, but I the script came off as pretentious. However, I really liked the use stop motion with post-it notes and the colour grade.
Touching Cloth
This is incredibly entertaining. The idea that we were all turned into puppets and the delivery of "turned us all... into cloth" was hilarious! The voice actors did such a good job, not to mention the well executed homage to the mid 20th Century horror flicks. The twist was adorable too. Great work!
The Offering
Wow, this film features some great visual effects. The colours were eye-catching, the upside-down world effect was a nice touch and the overall experience was really entertaining. I felt the ending was the my least favourite part, but I really enjoyed this film and would like to see more experimental films like these. Great work!
