Apple Bobbing (robbing)
My major problem was that the actors were actually quite good but they had bad dialogue....the characters didn't develop neither did the story, it was over a minute too long and I was bored again. Just know that keeping out attention is actually quite easy if you move the story along faster. 7 minutes isn't a goal, its a maximum. Seems to be written by someone who watches too many Scorsese films.
Glow
When I saw this film I was like "yes something strong" as the film went on I was getting more and more bored. Yes it stood out, yes it had strong acting. But the film itself was boring. The story was not there. I have not seen a film like it but it did not seem original in any way. Was it an inspirational film? Maybe? As for the production values, they were average. It is now common to shoot on DSLR cameras. The downside of this is that the films all look the same. So if your trying to have an original story, you need to create an original look to your story too. So that made the film bland looking and boring. If this makes the finals I will be totally shocked. Simply because if a film can make the finals it could win the national award, I honestly don't want to see an unoriginal film like this be in the same category as Brown Peril or Child Jumpers. Sorry
Open, Closed Doors
This film was about an eccentric. He was somewhat delusional and kept seeing things. The film had a strong lead actor and the production values were somewhat ok. The film contained a lot of composited effects. This made the film stand out. Depending on the judging, this film could sneak into the finals. If the judges judge the same as last year. If they are looking for originality this film is definitely that. Two word review "Eccentric fun"

Brick's Quest
Original, well executed and was edited well. Overall a pleasant watch. Will make the finals for sure.
