Very well shot and some great locations. The story mostly made sense, but the revelation that the 'bad guy' was really the kid from the flashbacks didn't feel like much of a pay-off. What was in the box? A couple of gold medals perhaps?

I enjoyed this, great camera work and locations. I think the back story could have had more development though, like what the guy wanted from her? I didn't understand his motivations. Great actors though, and loved the freeze frame.

A very interesting and well produced film, the mystery genre is tough to make in a seven minute film but this film pulled it off very well. I really enjoyed the action sequences and it seamlessly included the ex-bully into the story. Overall a great film

Definitely one of the best of the night. Every character was perfect, right down to their clothes and make up. It was beautifully shot and edited, and the script was obviously well thought out. The storyline did lack in a few places and leave some unanswered questions, however. And I would have loved to know what was in the box!

A really great short. Everything was well done and the short flowed nicely, however I really felt like the ending left me in a position where I could not feel as though it completely answered the questions of 'what was in the box'. I apologise to the team, but I do not feel as though a film voted as the audience favourite should have loose ends. On a plus side, the acting (including the younger versions) was very good, and the locations very effective. Well done!

Bobby Young is now a detective and a guy shows up in her office saying he needs her help urgently. She throws him a ball of paper which he catches in his left hand and then the story continues. There are flashbacks (15-20 years before) to an unspecified treasure that her father entrusts to her and tells her to keep hidden. She then tracks down where it is and the bad guy shows up. The acting in this was excellent and it was very well shot with a number of great locations. The only thing that let the film down was the plot. I had a chance to catch up with one of the team and they said there were a number of subplots and storylines that were interwoven but they were trimmed out in editing to try and leave the essence of the story. Unfortunately it left parts of the story seeming a little rushed, mostly the original set up, but the ending did tie what there was together and the detectives reveal of her knowledge was nicely done. These guys definitely make cinematic films though. I would like to see the long version with all the elements in it at some point so we get a better feel for the depth of the characters.

A very well shot a played out film. I'm not quite sure on the story yet with a relatively packed plot unfolding rapidly before your eyes it seems a little too much may have been packed in leaving the audience little time to process the happenings. Some great acting made it enjoyable with some nice action scenes, motive and premise could have been set up a little better but definitely one of the better films of the heat.
