Bone in my beard
Hmmm. Hard to review a film positively that is so absent of good choices. The body switch genre is rich in opportunities: farce, discovery, insight, betterment, the list is quite long. And this group missed 'em all. In this under-done film I have no idea why I'm watching any of the characters. The relationship between the boy/girl couple is unconvincing. There is just no reason for me/audience to engage. and the supposed affair, apart from the amusing texts, is lost too early, too easily. The cause of the body switch, (while not really that important), is unseen, and when the couple do wake from their slumber (to discover they've switched bodies), their first instinct is to put on shoes and leave. Hell, even Lindsay Lohan managed to make a reasonable body switch film. Sorry guys, this film is a mis-fire. But the potential is certainly there. Don't stop. Make more.

interesting confusing ????? could have done more but didn't sell it to me but certainly wasn't the worst movie of the night
While there are some flaws with this movie, such as it being merely sufficient technically, there are a lot of things to like about this movie. First of all, I admire the decision not to explain the switch. While it didn't entirely work, not getting into the explanation for it gave the film a nice sense of space around what happened to the characters once they had switched bodies. While the plot is a little flabby, and hard to care about sometimes, that is redeemed by some surprisingly nice acting, and a great use of the line and freeze frame at the end of the film. Next year, you better make something even cooler.

Some good things here. A clever way to do the body switch. Great ending. Cute trick with the shoes. Some issues with plotting. The characters reaction to the body switch is unconvincing though the examinations of the new bodies is good. Lost it completely in relationship to Bobby largely I think because I couldnt make out the texts and some poor sound. I think dialogue was underdone and so left us without enough knowledge of the characters. Keep at it guys.

A very good film, especially when you consider that no-one in the Hungry Zealots crew/cast is more than 14 years old! The story idea was interesting and appropriate for the actors who gave believable performances. The film had a good pace and structure. I also liked the music a lot - impressive that it was composed, performed and recorded in such a short time. There were some minor technical issues in places (e.g.difficult to read the text messages on the cell phone, some lines were a little quiet), but the editing was pretty seamless and the freeze-frame ending was very well done. I must declare a competing interest (I am the Director's Mum!) but this does allow me to tell you what a fantastic time these guys had during the V48 hours weekend and I assure you they did everything themselves - apart from the cooking!:)

I thought this movie was very good considering it was a teen movie and the actors were young. The acting was very good. The male actor performed particularly well being a girl. The music was also quite impressive and it was overall an enjoyable movie. The plot at times was a little hard to understand and at times the music was a little loud. But overall a very good teen short film.

Clever work Zealots!! You held my attention from scene to scene ... how was it going to end? I guess it didn't, but the clever freeze at the end captured the developing shock. One or two continuity problems, but the acting was fabulous, the score complimentary and subtle and the filming (and here I admit to a vested interest - ie. Dad typing) was tops. Perhaps more could have been made of the body switch, without the distraction of "bobby", but a great movie. Fabulous acting. It made me laugh.

not good guys. honestly couldn't follow storyline and weak acting left me wanting MUCH more. you took the cleche approach and it showed. attempted jokes failed and the audience was almost asleep by the time the credits finally rolled. better luck next time.
