Do I review this with my team goggles on or as a unbiased observer? hmmmm. Apart from the glaringly obvious "Kick It" which I am sure is going to get a laugh out of us for the rest of the year, the film came together quite well. A great first entry from a team with, I think more enthusiasm than ability, but a real can do attitude. Good camera work to have the conversations with the girl in the mirror without having to resort to a lot of post-production work. I still think that there should have been at least 1 shot where we see both Bobby in the bathroom with the reflection of the girl in the mirror instead of his. The story arc of him trying to change was good but I think we needed to strengthen the 2 middle incidents a little. Make it clearer what was happening. Vlad's final speech to the girl in the mirror is still moving. And the fact that you guys wrote all original music for the film was awesome. Great work guys. I look forward to doing it all again next year,

Best original team name!!! Ummm that aside this was really quite good for a school team. Really good music!!! A bit heavy-handed on the "feel-good" message though. And why was he trying to break into the car at the end if he had the keys? Music was the highlight for sure. Well done.

Bahaha!! Directors voice “kick it” classic lol A sad story, this tells of a bully who, after seeing a girl in the mirror (his imagination?) he trys to not be a bully, but can't get it right as everyone misinterprets him. At the end despite his failers to look good, he still does a nice thing while no-one is looking, then the girl appears in real life and he see's she is not in his imagination anymore. Some pretty good acting here especially from the mirror girl, she reminded me of tyler from Fight Club in her role. The movie went along nicely and was well rounded, solid editing and nice story. I really felt sorry for Bobby when everyone was putting him down or misinterpretating his good deeds, and he had a good connection with the mirror girl. The editing really brought out that she wasn't there in real life well done. The end however was the best part, when he touches her face it really broke down the barriers that I had built up in their “relationship”, and it contrasted the rejection he had felt earler perfectly.. well done. If I had any suggestions it would be to be a bit more creative with your settings/locations, tighten up the editing to be original (See Requim for a Dream or Fight Club) and make it more memorable (e.g. with a crazy character, locations). Apart from that you have really good story writing, acting, filming, sound, and editing skills, and If you try and break outside the box a little bit more you have real potential. Looking forward to seeing your entry next year!
