Awesome acting. I loved the use of the bent wire. And the fruit stop motion was wicked cool. Great acting. Well done. I reckon you've got a regional finalist on your hands.
Always wanting to do a good deed, our lead David (NOT Dave) helps someone get into their house that they have been locked out of, although when the person they helped get in starts smashing things up they give it a second thought. This team made a pretty huge goddam mess of whichever house they filmed at, but it was pretty deliriously good fun. Good chemistry between the two leads, as they captured the awkwardness of meeting someone you like for the first time very well.
Loved this one. Loved the lead's mustache. A man helps Bobbie Young break into what is supposedly her house, but turns out to be the house of her ex. She goes on to trash the place while the man begs her to stop. A lovely piece of stop-motion involving fruit is used to explain that he cheated on her and broke her heart. The man joins in on the destruction and the two bond until the ex shows up dressed as a banana. Of course. She flees, he gets his ass kicked... by a man dressed as a banana. They meet up again (she uses the same wire lockpick to get into his house) and instead of the freeze-frame kiss we were all expecting, they stop and hug instead due to the man's lip being too sore. Great performance, and great make-up work to show the man beaten and battered. I'm not sure the trashing of the house was a proportional response to him merely cheating, but that might just be my own messed-up morals. Very enjoyable piece. Good title, too. Plus it had a man dressed as a banana! Come on!

Most enjoyable introductory lines from the Liverpuddlian, Mr helpful, handsomely moed lead actor as he manages to craft a key out of wire and unlock the front door of an inner city flat for a seemingly in-distressed damsel. Thorough knowledge of this particular lock and it's ins and outs and historic connection to sailors. Great anecdotal stop motion animations with fruit in various poses. Most enjoyable!
Although there were a few clumsy moments in this film, I felt it had great framing of scenes and the leads were just so darn adorable together. Also, getting to trash a place looked like a lot of fun and the actors really sold me on it. The story was humourous and I loved David's rambling at the beginning of the film. Plus having a character beaten up by a banana was a hilarious moment in the heat. My 3rd favourite film of heat.
A romantic comedy with a twist, a well written and kooky script that was performed strongly by the cast, specifically the lead male who was awkwardly amazing! Love the innovative use of the stop motion fruit and actual smashing of crockery. Cute and funny as a rom-com should be but with a slightly darker edge that gives the film a unique flavour.

Greetings Peasants, A very enjoybale film. Great chemsitry between the leads, very good dialaogue, and outstanding sound. Indy Rom-Com at it's best. 5/5. Cheers, WOTDCEO
