Awesome VFX, but couldn't quite figure out the 'Urban Legend' or story.

The standout short of the day. Technically amazing, nailing the slow mo required shot in a couple of scenes with footage that our computer would still be rendering one week on. Great voice actors used to good effect to tell three urban legends coherently while others in the heat struggled telling just one story. P.S Sinistral - if you guys aren't taking footage of your second camera unit next year with all the bells and whistles we'll gladly borrow it for our one and only camera, mic, wind machine etc.

"The one with the awesome slow motion shots". Hard to argue with the film technically, was a very slick production. Feel like it may have relied on those shots a little too much though. Started to become a little gimmicky after awhile, and almost distracted me from the lack of a good story. Was my second favourite in a below average heat though. Was kind of expecting a lot more from the guys who brought us 'John'.

I like the effects and I like the execution. But it was something off about the image quality and color grading, as like part of it was shot before the competition. The Genre didn't fit either, I couldn't see the urban legend there. As I said the color difference in hospital scene and the other three shots was so different. I like the action tho. very cool slow motion effects.

Visually stunning. Outstanding slow motion scenes. Would have liked a bit more depth to the story or a more satisfying or surprising ending. Despite this it still received a vote from me.

Technically very well done (although I don't think they've ever actually played go-fish since pairs are laid down in the card game) and some more story would have been nice. Enjoyed the actors as they were cast well. Did receive one of my top three votes.

Wow these guys are like James Cameron Take A simple story that so perfectly uses the genre. you can't miss it, it's almost too obvious Add the most technically advanced team in 48 history and you get Go Fish A romp! A visual feast! People will watch and think "how did they do that?" some may even insinuate they cheated (seriously have you seen their other films??) but take it from me, they've done it again! My only complaint..... It's not long enough!

What an awesome watch. If you had won Auckland I don't think too many people would have complained. Great take on urban legend, looked amazing and all the acting was better than good.
