As the team name suggests, this film was cute, with some well made puppets. I'm not sure if it was 'technically' one shot, but it was disqualified anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Best use of slo mo falling leaf shot yet.

I loved this film. My favorite of the heat and was gutted I couldn't vote for it. Very funny, very dry.

Great slomo gag! Unfortunately after such a big laugh so early on I felt like the rest of it didn't really hold up :( The puppets were really cute but it was a bit jaring how the animated brick and leaf cut on and off and I saw the ending coming as soon as I clicked that they were at a bus stop. I really wanted to like it but it just never really reached the heights for me that I reckon it could have.

After the screening there were only a few movie that we talked about with our cup of coffee. And yes, you were one on of them. Cute yet funny, the slow motion leaf was hilarious, the awkward moments between the two puppets were a crack up. Very very great job.

Very cute film and well done with such a small team. Hopefully next year you will be able to enlist some more help and hopefully have it in on time to be considered. Was this short one of the best? No. But it did show great potential in the creators.

Beautifully made puppets, and many excellent and hilarious moments, but it felt perhaps a little over-long. I wasn't sure if the many awkward moments were meant to be quite so awkward. Also, didn't feel like it was really in the spirit of the 'one shot' requirement, tough to pull off with puppets and animation, but the concealed cuts just needed a little more polish to get away with it. Still, gutted I couldn't vote for it as it was definitely my favourite in this heat.

Quite enjoyed this film - the "concealed cuts" thing really didn't bother me as half the fun of 48Hours is finding ways to work around genre constrictions. The puppets were great, production was endearingly low-fi and the awkward humour between the puppets worked a treat. Nice stuff.
