I watched this film in the heats. I thought your opening shot had a lot of potential, and the story was starting to develop well, but it seemed a little bit similar to a video I watched on vimeo recently called "The Camera" where a girl finds a camera, takes photos and a boy is in the photos that are taken ( https://vimeo.com/32655795 ). This may be a really unfortunate co-incidence, but it put me off from enjoying the film like you wanted me to... I quite liked the minimal dialog, and I think you guys can really develop a story well.

A passed-out-drunk Nicky Brick wakes up to find a digital camera. He searches for his wife, using the images captured. A loose interpretation of a loosely-defined genre. I liked the direction this film was heading and it's sense of building dread, like an ugly, forgotten truth was to be revealed to this damaged character. I was caught off-guard when the film ended; it was a bit of a "Was that it?" moment. I was expecting more of a revelation, twist or pay-off. This film had an original score, though, which I loved. I thought it suited the mood of the film perfectly.

A man deeply mourns his dead wife. When he discovers a digital camera, the pictures it takes brings back further memories of his wife and the line between real and imagined becomes blurred. This began with a long opening sequence of the man waking up and being depressed, I guess. The acting was believable and the minimal dialogue forced us to pay attention to the visuals. It helped therefore, that is was nicely filmed and edited with the transition between photographs very well managed. An interesting take on found footage that was well executed.
