One of the only films I actually fully remembered. For a school team really good.

Congratulations, well edited and put together film. Pitfalls in the camera work, the jumpyness in the contrast and brightness and some shots breaking the 180 rule and not making sence completely, good simple story, a good effort.

I liked it, actors all did well, not too simple, not too complex. BUT I did see a couple of actors giggling in it at times ...

[Schools/under 18] A young boy starts a new school that is a little bit weird - well, one group of students in particular. He befriends a student who seems normal and before long must come to her aid when she is disciplined for her insubordination. This film looked very pretty and there was an obsession with some very shallow DOF which created oil-painting-like backgrounds. The audio was fine and despite a few focussing issues the camerawork was generally very sound. Transitions were also nicely handled. The acting was very good (apart from some giggling extras who broke out of character). One issue with a school based location is that whenever you do exterior shots the school looks rather empty ('cos it is the weekend!) and so the illusion is somewhat diminished. I felt that with this. EDIT: The ease at which the parents let the son go on "camp" made me laugh too and spolied the illusion! A spooky little story (a bit Children of the Corn/Village of the Damned) but I can't for the life of me recall the urban legend!
