Title was actually Deadline. Great to see a serious take on the end of the world, especially as I know how much you wanted to do a zombie apocalypse. The three story line ideas were good. I think maybe a line or two of dialogue for the beginning of the Nicky storyline and the druggie would have been good. A few technical issues: 1) The film needed to be deinterlaced so that the lines did not appear through the picture. Also the music levels needed dropping a little overall to allow the dialogue to stand out more., similar to the news report at the beginning. Great work and looking forward to next years production.
I was involved and had great fun. The deinterlacing problem should have been addressed, but we can fix that next year. It turned out way better than what we thought it would be
A very good end of the world movie, but focussed more on humanity as opposed to what is causing the world to end. Had a good use of the slo-mo, and the countdown clock as a way to cut between the alternating storylines was nice, even if I was expecting the 24 clock countdown sound every time I saw it. Only issues was with the interlacing, but that's something to remember for next time. Really nice to see a school team that actually tackled the subject in a serious manner (ignoring the pratt fall), and I really look forward to what you guys and girls can come up with next year.
Pumpkin Fairy
Nice concept, making the most of life. More connection to characters in back story important/needed.
