The best film of Heat 2. Non-stop hilarity. Great use of visual gags. The main lead's acting wasn't that great, but the obsessive friend was played extremely well. Direction felt a bit dry sometimes, however it was the highlight of the evening.

Classic hilarity from these vets. Morris, a guy from Timaru, stays with Vic and decides he wants to spend all day doing things with Vic, but Vic works night shift. Don't want to give away the ending. Lots of usual wrongness and non PC from this team. Very high production values as you expect from these guys and wouldn't be surprised to see it in the finals list.

Really good work from these guys, hellishly funny, great acting, tightly written. Not really much more I can say. Thoroughly enjoyed -- one of the best of the Heat.
Awaiting Bald Faced Cheek's submission this year and was delighted by an excellent, light-hearted film about an obsessive guy wanting to have a (disturbing) bromance with the Vic Meyer. Funny funny funny... nice job guys!

Great fun by a strong team. A man takes legal herbal hallucinogens instead of his insomnia pills and creates an imaginary friend. Awesome and beautifully rounded up. I felt it got off to a bit of a slow start though. It took a while for me to get into it. Nevertheless great effects and use of genre. I guess I just want a bit more substance from time to time. There's always films with drugs as the running gag it would seem and I guess I get a bit sick of the superficiality of that. It seems a bit of an easy option and for those of us who like to stay healthy and avoid such substances I just don't relate. Bit of a moan but hey I still enjoyed it and had a good laugh.

Great little film. Bit of a sigh ending but the characters were fun to watch and it gave us one if the lines of the night with the racist party. I laughed...kind of boring setup for me but well acted all in all

Very funny film, I enjoyed it. It made the whole audience laugh and the story flowed well.
The Audience has spoken. Definitely the best of the heat. Too many gags to repeat, though the highlight (or lowlight) is surely their POV shot. So wrong! Many a laugh. Loved it!
A man gets a new flatmate who is a little over-friendly. Audio: 4 Video: 4 Story: 3.5 Acting: 3.5 Pros: Bald Faced Cheek do some hilarious films and this year's is no exception. A nice blend of witty, offensive and downright out-there humour. I immensely enjoyed the ending which really set this apart from your average obsessive friendship film, of which there are many this year. Cons: It was very much the same thing they do every year. Having seen this group's films before, it's difficult to get into the characters when you remember them from previous years' films. That being said, it was only a minor issue. Overall: Another brilliant film by this team. Their writers have a great sense of humour, though not as offensive as some previous entries. PS: I loved the giant cupcake.
Very funny and well shot. I didnt understand why the friends would have gone out and investigated the obsessive friend but otherwise I was happy watching this film. Had the single best line of dialog of the night.

This film was packed with great little gags.

Nice work Tony and Bald Face cheeks! I really enjoyed this film and had lots of laughs! Great use of POV - probably one of the most memorable ones I've seen. Lovely comedic moments with Maurice. Well done!

Loved the straight faced humour of Vic and the lawn mower gag (I'm gonna rip that off at some point in the future!).
