The thing that stood out the most to me in this movie was the amazing acting from the school boy and girl characters! They were fantastic! Best acting of the night!! The actual film I was a little bit lost with though.

A girlfriend/daughter walks in on her partner/mother getting busy with a guy. Or maybe it was the other way around?! Anyway, they argue in a really long, intense dialogue scene. Meanwhile, a girl and boy walk home from school and chat. The girl is the daughter/sister of the first lot I mentioned. Naturally, the boy likes the girl but she's not quite ready. Someone dies, there's a funeral and everything comes together. This looked really good in parts and was well acted. Sound was a bit of an issue, with wind noise a problem and audio missing in a few points. Recording an ambient track to plug holes and cover may have been a good idea. I felt it was a bit messy in terms of flow and seemed as if due to time constraints a scene was missed out. Seeing Kendo took me back to my days in Japan and in fact that "advice" scene was really well constructed. Nice work!

Nice use of the line. Good dialogue/chemistry between the two ladies. Believable strife. Nice back and forth dialogue shots throughout. Good compositions and lighting, too. Cool armor/costumes in the arena. Lots of laughs at the yelling... probably unintentional. :-/ Not sure what happened with the card/anger scene? Cool shots at the funeral... nice use of DoF. Good job on the music. Cool credits sequence, too.

Thought the acting should get a shout out here. It was actually really impressive. Not so sure about the converging storyline aspect and how legit it turned out, but I enjoyed this one more than a couple of other films from this heat.

I just watched this again on youtube and i understand the story a whole lot better. After seeing your 2014 film, i think your actors and actresses are fantastic. The sound and music worked very well and i loved the use of the line. A very convincing performance and i look forward to seeing your future films!
