So Many positive comments about this from my gang as we wandered out!! Some *Beautiful* shots. Funny. Excellent lead casting (hot ass!!). Great music. I would back up all of those - and I know you received many audience fav' votes from us! :) My only gripe would be for more of a story. It was visually strong, but mentally weak.

A lot of this film was really well shot (the opening shot wow!). Was funny in places and the audience really seemed to enjoy it. Not so sure about the story itself seemed somewhat limited and the character of Vic was really shoe horned in at the end. My major gripe though is that it really pushes what you can qualify as a musical, as all that is involved as far as musical is concerned is some of the film is narrated by a guy playing a guitar (possibly Vic?). Overall though a very enjoyable film.

Beautiful little film, fantastic acting and captivatingly simple storyline. A pleasure to watch although the end comes about abruptly. Have my own theory on what was going on but will let you figure it out for yourself. Fun watch!!!

Excellent cinematography, acting and music. Definitely one of the more watchable clips of the night. Big ups for taking on the musical! I definitely did not want the genre and I liked the blues vibe a lot. However, the ending was a bit weird, maybe open for interpretation, I dunno.. Great job!

Technically competent, but a failure to convincingly integrate the required character, line of dialouge, and lackluster application of the Musical genre (a hard one, I know, but that's the point) undermine this film substantially. The opening shot was as beautiful as it was compelling, but from there the film seemed to have to rely on admittedly pretty visuals and voice over songs to carry the audience along, rather than any real story. I'm not sure what the plot was beyond the "can't remember last night" premise. Otherwise it was a relatively well polished short.

Oh dear, a narrator carrying the Heroes journey in a musical? A walk of Shame gets out of hand, even with His sexy bum onscreen, this film was in trouble before it began. Principal male doesn't sing, the narrator drones on a bit out our hungover heroes current situation and while it looked good though the lens, the audience weren't impressed. I sympathise, Musical sucks, (I know) but make a few phone calls and you could have a bongo drummer, a tea chest bass and a teaspoon orchestra to lively up yourself. Sorry, but you (film-maker) gave me no reason to like the character, care about his circumstance or want to sing along to the droney narrator, not that I could anyway.

Lovely music guys. A very smooth film. It had a nice look to it as well. Unfortunately I felt like the story started really strongly, setting us up for a clever and interesting plot... but then kinda fell away into cheesy gags. Ran out of time scripting? None the less, a good film and an enjoyable watch.

The 'Ass' shot made me laugh and big ups to the brave actor! I enjoyed the stealing of the clothes and the POV into the house, What started out as a strong first half unfortunately declined towards the end of the film. I wasn't sure what happened at the end and felt liked I had missed something. Looking forward to seeing what else this group can do.

First thing that struck me was your camera work which was excellent. This was followed by some quite reasonable music which was well done. Unfortunately, after this, one had to notice that the levels (particularly between dialogue and music) were massively out. The story was also perhaps overly simplistic which let down a film that clearly had a lot of potential. Sorry - this was a film that never convinced me to engage with it.

It's not original, but I'm going to say it anyway - you film opens on such strong visuals. A man wanders across the sand as his plight is narrated in song. Our narrator takes a shot at our protagonist's suit... our protagonist responds... silence I think this may ave been a misstep here; coming so early in the film this interaction shapes the viewers perception of the world and how the protagonist, narrator and environment are linked. There were moments when we again get this strong convergence (stealing the clothes), but it is presented inconsistently throughout and I don't think it was fully exploited as far as it could have been. A solid effort, but one that just didn't click with me; a lot of good visuals but I didn't get the ending.

Ugh, I'm so torn with this film. On one hand it is beautiful. And I mean b e a u t i f u l. I could only dream of perfecting shots like that in 48s. On the other hand it almost did away with the musical genre, which is a real shame. Staying true to the genre is number one on the "Things to make sure we get right"! I also felt that the story was lacking, and when the audio from the actual scene did come in, it was pretty bad. But so pretty

It was kind of just one long song and ok it did match what was happening on screen but it held the film to one level. It was cool singing and guitar, just needed some variety at various points. I didn't get the end and use of the line seemed to be a last minute tack on because it was mandatory. I appreciate that many would have enjoyed the naked shot but I thought it would have been more believable if he'd been standing there in his whites. I'm not sure if the left-channel only use for actors speech was intentional? If so, then it came across more as though you had an issue. If you'd played with both left and right channels for the characters depending on their on-screen position then that would have been clever. Beautiful film work.

A character suffers trials returning from a night out, covered by a guitarist narrator. Beautiful cinematography, particularly in the opening shots which lent an epic mood to the 'what happened last night' trope. The sarcastic narrator/museum was a great move in a tough genre. The dodgy audio on the few pieces of dialogue was a bit distracting, and the story dragged a little in the middle, but overall a great film that accomplished what it set out to do.
