Not so much scary as funny... Not a great entry, but not a terrible one either.
this was my favorite of the heat, and most entertaining. i thought the decision to go with a B-Movie trailer was a great idea, and was executed nicely. had me quoting the movie title voice over in my head. "DEAD LAST"
Some great fake American accents here, nice take offs from other movies. Bit predictable in parts, but great effort overall.

There were a few things that were a bit off with this film but hands down the best of the heat purely because it ran with a different concept and didn't feel like it needed to take up the entire 7 minutes. Sound has it's moments but the trailer idea was unique for 48 films and I thought it had some really funny dialogue. Looking forward to seeing your film next year if you enter.

I liked this a lot. It was refreshing to see something so different and done in trailer form really worked with their horror concept. The corny parts were hilarious and I thought the acting was awesome. Great work to this team, very unique and fun and there was no point where I lost interest or felt bored.
A fake trailer for an upcoming horror-action film that included blood, intrigue, an exorcist priest and guns. First things first; the positives were that it was bold, fun and kept repeating keywords that would hopefully attract an audience if they were to come see the supposed film on release. Also made complete fun of itself ala the fake trailers in the Grindhouse (Planet Terror/Death Proof) releases. The negatives = why fake American accents? Why have part of the trailer scratchy like a film print and other parts in crystal clear HD? Why add a supernatural element with the shot of the priest and have the trailer announcer not mention it when you are promoting a horror film? Also, ambitious long trailers do often give you a general storyline idea without giving anything away and this did not. It was fun, but there were a lot of potential things that could have been done better.
i see you have opted for a throwback, a "homage" if you will to action horrors of the 1970's. while the performances were an obvious parody of the gung-ho culture of such films, i could not help but to enjoy this slasher emulator, it looked fun, while not actually showing anything.

Liked this one loved the idea of a trailor, found the guys acting to be abit over the top.but overall was one of my favourites.
I really liked the idea behind this trailer styled film, it worked well, was well shot, and covered quite a few locations by the look of it. I would be interested to see what the story of the "feature" actually is, which means they've done something right with the way they've told their story. only thing I wasn't to sure about was the grungeing up of the footage with overlays, I understand the reference to the grindhouse trailers, and that style of imagery, just not sure it was necessary. Overall great work guys, look forward to seeing what you do in the future.

Was punchy, but the idea didn't really work for me as a 48 hour film. Yes, it kept my attention with quick cuts, but I felt that it didn't involve the creative effort of many others from the heat that had clever plots and scripts.

Very entertaining little film, with heaps of cliche and quotable lines. I really enjoyed this.
