This film had a nice straight forward set up and good use of a variety of characters. The twist at the end was interesting and did well to avoid a typical ending. I think the characters and concept could have been developed a bit more fully for the film to really stand out.

Nicely crafted, but couldn't get past the content matter. Sorry guys.

This was well put together, but . . . I'm still not sure if the twist was shocking or sad or just unconvincing. If the central character had shown a bit more personality it would have been both better and worse, that is more impactful. I don't know if that is what I wanted or the *exact opposite*. Okay, now giving this more points than my first impulse, because clearly it left me with more questions than any of the others in this heat. But I can't say I liked it.
Contemplating suicide, our lead has brief interactions with those who have mattered to him most in the past ala It's A Wonderful Life. Played seriously, this wasn't really an immobilisation film.

Well thought out little film, nicely acted and edited, could be a bit more polished and have a moral or a point to be made, not bad though.

A man alone in his garage contemplates his life. This film was visually well put together, I was impressed with a number of nice directorial choices, the profile shot of the various visitors was a good one. Heavy topic for 48 hours, not that that is necessarily a bad thing, but I felt like it consumed the whole plot. This film could have benefited from a little more drive.
A very dark film. I really enjoyed it and I was on the verge of tears towards the end. I felt the ending was a little predictable though the comment about the bad DIY tied the whole thing together. It was quite powerful. Great acting and very well put together. I think that the immobilised part was that the "flashbacks" were after the main character was deceased. A very moving short.
