One of the most well crafted films of this heat with nice photography and great sound editing. I struggled with the character arc a bit as the guy was so aggressive, he didn't show enough remorse to redeem himself enough to deserve being rescued by Lucy. It's a bit cliche, but it gives audiences a more satisfying emotional journey.
Really well shot film - nice to showcase some of the countryside. Making a dog the main character must have been pretty risky for filming, but I think you did a great job on conveying to the audience what the dog was feeling. However I didn't find the lead human quite as compelling, and the film maybe ran a little bit too long in some places for the length of the story. Great job :)

PRETTY MUCH PERFECT WITH JAWDROPPING CINEMATOGRAPHY, INCREDIBLE EDITING AND ONE HELL OF A PERFORMANCE BY YOUR DOG...AND THOSE DRONES. MY GOD THOSE FUCKING DRONES! IF THOSE WERE DONE ON THE WEEKEND WOWOWOWOW! SIMPLY INCREDIBLE....IF NOT AND THEY WERE STOCK WELL THEY WERE STILL PERFECTLY INTEGRATED. THE SENSE OF SCOPE ON THIS THING WAS HUGE DESPITE IT BEING JUST A MAN AND HIS DOG. SOUND DESIGN WAS ALSO IMPECABLE - WHY DO WE STILL NOT HAVE AN AWARD FOR SOUND?? THOSE SAYING THE FILM SIMPLISTIC NEED TO WATCH IT AGAIN THIS TEAM HAVE REACHED FOR THE STARS AND WOUND UP ON ANOTHER GALAXY. THE ONLY MINOR TEENCY TINY QUIBBLE I HAVE IS THAT THERE'S A HANDFUL OF SHOTS THROUGHOUT THE FILM WERE THE FOCUS WOBBLES EVER SO SLIGHTLY AND A COUPLE NOT GRADED AS PERFECTLY AS THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE FILM. BLEW ME AWAY.

Easily the best film of this heat, with amazing audio engineering and fantastic cinematography, this film took me on a journey of emotion. The dog played the roll amazingly and the action sequences were gripping with a really satisfying ending that left you with a sense of intensity. Also the main actor seemed like a guy I'd have a beer with.
