Wear your hair up! No wear your hair down! Make up on! Make up off! Don't do that job interview! In this push pull multiverse Te Whare Raiona threw the kitchen sink at the screen, reveling in the opportunity to present as many versions of a character on screen visually as possible. Shit we even got the horror/zombified Sam Raimi nod!
I have in my notes your "Mirror Shot" was absolutely exceptional. Not CONTACT level good but still very seamless in terms of looking at the mirror, still clearly the same actor and then the other end behaving differently in their multiverse. That was technically really impressive.
Birds Eye View shot was also really good, whoever in charge of the camera did a great job in general with framing actually.
Performance strong, tone of the film gripping and intriguing as the ying and yang opposite advice created genuine tension...but then you dropped the ball on that ending in my opinion. It felt like you went for the PRIMER home run and instead went for a message of choices being meaningless, which came across pretty cold and flat. Real shame because I really enjoyed the film until then!
