Act of Service

SO well-acted by the two leads and certainly earned the Best Editing award - especially when compiling the mirror versions of the guy arguing with himself. I was especially hooked by the VERY funny one-way sexual tension in the story. Not sure the twist ending capitalised on that build-up, but it did make me laugh. Really good film!

Really cool use of genre, pulled off the simplicity because the car setting is pretty funny with the guy misunderstanding the hookup for a fancy first date, and the characters struck the balance of super natural but also classic stereotypes. Well written and the mirrors bit building the pace was brilliant. The flyer twist is pretty funny, could've been his plan all along or the trusty backup exit strategy! Nice one guys!
