A fantastic play on words, great performances and the creepiest cat puppet I've seen in 48 history. Fantastic work HD Play!

A great entry from Scots college with their film Katastrophe. We see a lot of younger people playing a detective in the competition, I liked that you used petty crimes though as that matched the age of the characters more. Everyone did a great job with their performances, and I loved the edit and the ending. Yes, that puppet was creepy! Well done team HD Plays.

There are a lot of interesting ideas at play here, from the use of the puppet to the twist ending. It also plays into the trope of the detective film with the voice-over monologues though this would have worked better if you committed to black and white for the whole short. The only thing that lets this short film down is that the overall premise doesn't make sense.
